ALMOST INFAMOUS explores the inner workings of this fascinating drag, a cappella singing group whose members authored Clinton’s HIV policy and served as director of the AIDS Legal Referral Panel in previous lives.

The documentary follows the Kinseys on the road, touring colleges and small towns across the country, on a caribbean cruise, and to foreign lands.  Along the way, we witness tensions within the group, see archival footage of their first performance on a SF street corner, and even get a fly-on-the-wall peek into a group therapy session.

The climax leads the group (with mixed emotions) to the Las Vegas Hilton for the opening of their on-going run of “Dragapella”.
